The Lighthouse

Overview

On the Hudson River at Chelsea Piers, The Lighthouse offers 10,000 square feet finished like a Manhattan loft, with hardwood floors, distinctive lighting fixtures and floor-to-ceiling windows. The windows open onto a glass-enclosed all-season terrace with outdoor waterfront access, so a sunset ceremony and the dinner that follows share the same view of the river.

For seated events, those figures run across Barnegat, Montauk and Navesink, because Saugerties and the All-Season Terrace stay open for cocktail hour and food and beverage service. The full room-by-room chart is below.

Sized to your event

The built-in drapes divide the main room into Barnegat, Montauk and Navesink, so the space can be sized to the guest list rather than left half empty. Likewise, a wedding moves from a terrace ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner without guests ever leaving the floor.

Production, built in

Audio, projection and lighting are permanently installed, so a production does not have to be trucked in and built from scratch. The systems are built into the building; their use is not included. KVL, our exclusive audiovisual provider, will quote your event.

Events at The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a favorite for waterfront weddings of up to 300 guests and bar and bat mitzvahs. It also hosts galas and benefits with dinners for up to 400, corporate meetings and conferences for up to 500, and holiday parties for up to 900.

The rest of the collection

For larger gatherings within the collection, Pier Sixty offers 20,000 square feet of column-free space for up to 1,200 guests, while Current offers a modern 6,000-square-foot room. Both venues also sit on the same Hudson River waterfront at Chelsea Piers.
