Overview

Current is the contemporary room in the collection: 6,000 square feet on the Hudson River at Chelsea Piers, defined by a sixteen-foot custom-lit LED ceiling that carries color across the entire room. Floor-to-ceiling windows open onto an 800-square-foot balcony above the marina, and because the ceiling changes with every event, no two celebrations here photograph alike.

For seated events, those figures run in Water, the main room, because Wind stays open for cocktail hour and food and beverage service, so dinner and reception never compete for the same floor. The full room-by-room chart is below.

Sized to your event

The built-in drapes divide the room or close it down to a smaller footprint, so Water and Wind can work as a pair: a product launch can reveal in one space and host the reception in the other. Likewise, a wedding or mitzvah moves from cocktail hour to dinner without guests ever leaving the floor.

Production, built in

Audio, projection, lighting and rigging are permanently installed, so a production does not have to be trucked in and rigged from scratch. The systems are built into the building; their use is not included. KVL, our exclusive audiovisual provider, will quote your event.

The rest of the collection

For larger gatherings within the collection, Pier Sixty offers 20,000 square feet of column-free space for up to 1,200 guests, while The Lighthouse offers a light-filled 10,000-square-foot loft. Both venues also sit on the same Hudson River waterfront at Chelsea Piers.
